LoadStruct LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the LoadStruct application and website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication).

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. We receive only: last 4 digits of your card, card type, expiration date, and billing address for receipt purposes.

Project Data

We store the projects, calculations, beam designs, and other content you create using the Service. This data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore.

Usage Information

We collect basic usage data such as login timestamps, feature usage, and session activity to improve the Service and provide support.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the Service
To process payments and manage subscriptions
To send important account notifications (password resets, billing issues, terms updates)
To respond to support requests
To improve the Service based on usage patterns

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers located in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Data Retention

Active accounts: Your data is retained as long as your account is active.

After cancellation: Project data is retained for 90 days after subscription cancellation to allow for reactivation or data export, then permanently deleted.

Account deletion: If you request account deletion, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access – Request a copy of your data
Export – Download your project data through the application
Correct – Update your account information at any time
Delete – Request deletion of your account and all associated data

Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
